Together-Against-violence
The purpose of this site is to have the public become aware that domestic violence comes in many forms, and that it happens to everyone of all ages. Our goal of all this is to make our world a safer place for survivors of violence to share their stories. We need to identify healthier ways of experiencing, expressing, and teaching gender and sexuality by changing the cultural myths and norms that make all forms of discrimination, violence and violation so prevalent in our society. We need to encourage men to see their role in preventing violence committed by other men, without forgetting that men too are victims as well, and that violence has no gender or age. The home of everyone should be a place where a family can bond and children can grow not be a place where a child grow in fear because of the abuse occurring in their household. Together we can make this this change by providing a place where the child could see a proper relationship with no violence present. We know victims might feel embarrassed, scared or even fearful to ask for help, but that is exactly what we need to do, make victims not be afraid. We need to help them gain their voice, speak up, and seek for help. Help the victims who survived their nightmare become a voice to help younger generations who are going through any type of violence.
